Most government documents related to the control of enemy aliens as well as the mass incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II are available from the National Archives at College Park (MD) and the National Archives at Washington DC. Some records are also available at the Japanese American Museum in Los Angeles.
This sixteen-minute video is an introduction to the World War II materials on Japanese Americans available at the National Archives along with information on how to obtain these materials. This presentation was prepared for the 2020 Conference of the Japanese American Consignment Sites Consortium.
