Griffith Park’s Travel Town Museum, which offers fun train rides for birthday parties, business meet- ings and also shares railroad facts, has a little-known ugly history — it contained a World War II prison camp that held Japanese, as well as German and Italian immigrants, whom the United States government arrested on charges of being “potentially dangerous enemy aliens.”
